September: Time for a Comeback

Welcome back McGillians. Ready for a new school year? I hope so, I'll be following you guys along providing a short perspective on our lives together.
As September comes to an end, fall is upon us leaving the warm weather behind. But what does this mean? Fall outfits are making their return, leaves are changing and covering campus like a colourful blanket, and McGill activities are starting up again! SSMU is hosting outdoor movie nights while showcasing the fantastic projects our fellow students are creating. Activities Nights and tabling events are back, giving McGill clubs the chance to welcome new and returning students. Slowly but surely, student life is becoming bustling again. If you are anything like me, getting involved in the student life is very important for mental health, so make sure you enjoy it as midterms take over.
Throughout the year, we hope to welcome everyone with open arms and create a safe space where you can be yourself, connect with others, and maybe even figure out some of the confusing parts of growing up along the way. We’re all in this together, and I’ll be here throughout the year reporting on the events, ideas, and experiences that I hope will make this school year a little more informative, connected, and fun!
Safe midterm season everyone, I am right here with you guys. But who am I? Am I someone who followed along Students in Mind last year and am ecstatic to be part of the team? Am I someone who just finished Gossip Girl and is now an aspiring columnist? That's one secret I'll never tell.

So mysterious! Can’t wait to follow along
